Matern Professional Engineering

Since 1984 Matern has been providing engineer consulting services to building owners throughout Florida. The building systems we design include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology - systems that provide occupant comfort and safety. We also specialize in energy auditing, indoor air quality, and commissioning new and/or existing systems.

Our project types range from assessments of mechanical and electrical systems to large multi-million dollar facilities. Our markets include assisted living, aviation, community/recreation, corrections, education, federal, healthcare, libraries, municipal, offices, public safety/EOCs, student housing, and university sectors.

We focus on the teamwork, coordination, and responsiveness required to successfully design and construct a project and believe in evaluating initial cost, long-term savings as well as associated maintenance when working with clients. Through this evaluation method, we are able to help clients determine a complete project solution rather than a temporary fix to the current challenge.
